Assalamualaikum..
There are times, I do questioned myself whether I am making the right decision to continue my study, albeit all the time and money that perhaps should be better reallocated to my growing kids (and husband).
My exam - tomorrow !!!!. And for the past 3 days, I was practically sleeping and dozing with the notes. I was also pretty much consumed with my works (no surprise ha?), with multiple deadlines and only less than a minimal team to work on it.
And today was not an exception.
And today, the exception came with a big price.
The telling.
I was supposed to be on my study leave, yet for these 2 big meetings, my boss requested (politely) for me to also be in attendance. And heck, I said yes.
5 minutes before the chairlady started her opening remarks, I received a phone call from one of the parents from Imani class. Asking where am sitting in. And when Am asking why - she said Imani joined a competition in the school. And today was the competition day. So, being me, known as the pompom girl for my kids (read: will always make myself be part of the process to the teacher's annoyance..haha),
Shut. A really really capital letter. SHUT!!!!! Because I was not being informed at all and for what it takes, I believe Imani purposely keep this thing to herself - looking at her mama busy schedule.
