Makan...makan...dan makan lagi

Assalamualaikum...

Bermula kisah apabila kawan sekolah dulu berborak sama....kemudian terbuka cerita pasal belanja makan etc.

Punyalah ceruk sampai semua jenis delivery tak nak hantar. Dia pula mengajar kelas hujung. Yang budak2 nya ...as norm...selalu akan diketepikan.

Bila kawan tanya.....jangan lupa belanja nanti hujung tahun jamuan kelas. Nak tunggu kaya pergi Mekah balik hari pun tak tahu bila. Baik guna je rezeki yang ada.

So here we are, a bit of sharing for the kids.

Its nothing. Seriously. Only a simple food delivered to them. But their happiness...and their appreciation. Beyond words.

I think this is something that give me a contentment. Its just me. Its define me.

Perhaps you could also do some soul-search, and got to the bottom for your source of fulfillment.

Till then. Jumpa lagi.

INFO : How to attend an Interview Session

Assalamualaikum....

Have had experiences conducting a chit chat sessions with internal staff and external interviews with new faces. From choosing an intern to the latest Executive and above.

As an Interviewer, I would like to share the basic principle what to do -

7-Step Interview Prep Plan
  1. Research the organization. This will help you answer questions — and stand out from less-prepared candidates. ...
  2. Compare your skills and qualifications to the job requirements. ...
  3. Prepare responses. ...
  4. Plan what to wear. ...
  5. Plan what to bring. ...
  6. Pay attention to non-verbal communication. ...
  7. Follow up.

Buddy talk, here the tips:

1 - Your CV should be within 2 pager - max. Highlight on your skills and what you can deliver. Latest innovation, people go for info graphic, it is good but please make sure the info provided is sufficient. Do not add fancy icons with limited access on your skill. Remember, when your CV received by HR, it will be stacked together with hundreds of others. Imagine that 2 sided A4 paper representing and telling about you, what do you want people to know?

I had an experience of filtering several CVs in less than a minute for 1 CV- with decision go or no go. The 1st look always on presentation, at a skim through,  if  the formatting not ease to eyes , or with silly typo. I will put an axes. It just shows that you are not meticulous to details and did not put 150% effort on importance of that CV.

2 - On the day, do come early. This will avoid you for being running out of breath should you are running behind the time. Plus, enough space for you to gather yourself and make sure you are at your most quite and serene ambiance.

3 -  When people ask you to tell about your self, please relate to your working experience. We don't want to know how many cats you have at home, or whether you have an online business or not. In that split seconds, by telling your background, we can figure whether you have the skillset that we require.

4 - Answer on point. Do not camouflage or try to sweeten things up. Your body lingo will tell all.

5 - Normally, at the end of the session, you would be asked, whether you have any question for the interviewer. Jumping the gun straight to salary and what YOU will be getting wont earn you the bonus. Instead, starting it off with a questions perhaps on expected deliverable, or the values company is holding on. It shows you are very keen and professional.

So those are my tips. At the moment. Just be honest and be yourself.

Legoland 2019

Assalamualaikum....

Last weekend, kitorang bawa anak2 ke Legoland. Kisahnya, masa cuti sekolah memang budak2 ni tak pergi ke mana-mana. Satu : sebab kami kerja dan malas nak join holiday waktu peak season. Serik.

Jadi, scrap all initial plan. Legoland we went.

Jumaat

Kitorang keluar rumah sesudah Subuh.

Mineral pun RM6 sebotol.

They just don't know how to give a proper pictures. Huh.

Kitorang memang tak sangka Harith boleh naik benda ni, knowing how himself. Sekali excited plak siap nak repeat.

First day ni, kami makan Burger King dan KFC.

Balik hotel dah jam 4.30PM. Check in.

Kitorang pilih Kingdom Theme Room. Ada 1 queen dan 1 bunk bed with 3 beds. So memang cukup untuk 5 orang. Cuma bilik tak lah sebesar dalam gambar. Just ok.

Akhirnya, setelah 20 minit cuba. Yang terlebih gembira bapa dorang. Hahahahhaha

The only pictures taken at Water Park. Padan muka tak bawa beg kalis air. Kena tinggalkan handphone di bilik hotel.

Seumur hidup, memang jarang main roller coaster dan seangkatan dengannya. Sebab tak suka, takut pun ya. Tapi kali ni, dek melayan Imani, memang terpaksa follow. Sebab bawah 12 tahun kena ada guardian. Jangan lah tanya Hasif mana. Dia lagi rela jaga boys di kolam mandi.

Memang semua slides kitorang turun.

By 4PM, semua dah macam ikan keli hitam berkilat. Hasif pujuk balik hotel dan mandi. Oh ya, bab solat jangan risau. Di dua2 taman ada surau yang selesa.

Lepas mandi, kami pergi ke Medini semula. Kali ni , makan Chicken Rice Shop, Harith yang pilih. Plan asal lepas makan masuk semula ke Theme Park untuk sambung Kingdom and Technip, sekali tengok Hanif dah tertidur dalam pinggan nasi dia,

So divide and conquer. Hasif pilih jaga Hanif dalam bilik. Saya bawa Imani dan Harith sambung main. Tak banyak dapat pun, settlekan Technip 3 games sahaja.

They both received certificate for completion of robotic game. Ada dalam Technip. 1 robot is RM8K.
Hasif called beritahu exschoolmate dia ajak dinner sama.

So malam tu, kitorang makan di Pendas, Restoran Nelayan. Sedap dan scenario dia cantik. Tepi laut kan. Dan Hasip keep repeating dah lama tak pergi sini. Selalu dengan Abah. Erm... rindu abah rupanya.

Ahad

Allah atur cantik. Ahad hujan lebat. Selebat2 hujan. So memang park tak boleh masuk.

Jam 7.30 Pm baru sampai KL. Dah sama macam balik Kedah je jangka masa perjalanan tu.

Overall, alhamdulillah ok. Anak2 happy.

Kalau naik flight kena sewa kereta bagai. Jauh dari airport.

3 - Jimatkan makanan, bawa lah siap2 air botol dan tidbits.

Itu sahaja. Have fun!!!

INFO : Migraine

Assalamualaikum..

I had severe migraine yesterday, when Ibuprofen was no longer works on me, and taking leave from work was not also an option. what left for was had 1 painkiller - cereblex and a quick nap for 15 minutes.

So what are those Migraine indicates?

My Dr Google said:

A migraine can cause severe throbbing pain or a pulsing sensation, usually on just one side of the head. It's often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound.
Migraine attacks can cause significant pain for hours to days and can be so severe that the pain is disabling.
Warning symptoms known as aura may occur before or with the headache. These can include flashes of light, blind spots, or tingling on one side of the face or in your arm or leg.
Medications can help prevent some migraines and make them less painful. Talk to your doctor about different migraine treatment options if you can't find relief. The right medicines, combined with self-help remedies and lifestyle changes, may help.

And how to differentiate whether you are having headache of migraine?

And how to combat this?

Happy reading!!!

Wife ruling (always) :)

Assalamualaikum...

One of the GM here gave me this. And by this quote, you shall know whether it's he..or she.

Morale - never ever questioned your wife.

Tetapkan Hati

Assalamualaikum...

Figuratively, things changes steadily over past 2 years. We both are more comfortable doing stuff without the maid, even Ilham, when Tokcik decided to move back to Kedah (read: no maid at all to clean the house for 2 times a week, or to iron the school uniform after this). We are weighing the options, whether to place the kids at transit or get a new maid, and Ilham chose the 1st option. Good girl.

And at work, if you can recall my struggles, and my never ending fight with the team, i think its just getting better now. Even my GM commented on this in my PPA. How? Just accept that people comes in many form. You can expect them to understand you. The best you should do, just try to figure out how to adapt, without losing your own identity.

And i found the ayat above is so powerful, and a good reminder to myself. What we are, and what we have, even to finest details of whats we feels and think, is not belongs to us. It is under Allah's care and Will.

So when you love something, love moderately. Or when you hate something, teach yourselves to limit the hatred. Learn to have everything in moderate. I am still learning, myself.

Isnin yang erm.....

Assalamualaikum...

Still on my attempt to make sure no spider web hanging in my blog - hence a writing is a must.

So last Monday was an exceptional, received a phone call from our Rugby Teacher, clarifying the stories on the wrong tellies that were brought in. And what made us sooooooo happy (and definitely alhamdulillah), he was also stating his stand of supporting us.

Just have faith in Him.

For us, the only things that warrant concern is our reputation with the teachers. So once cikgu called, the whole burden lifted. And definitely, am smiling again.

Stories reached us on few attempt to spread the tellies to others and Alhamdulillah, the new parents ignored them. Which I humbly thanks. We may not always be in a communication, or met, knew each other by name and reputation only, and yet the support given to us is based on that limited interaction.

Those people? Let them talk, and cray in the poodle of shit they made. There were days, I do pity them. Sebab their kids are good. And have the potential. But those potential buried with the attitude of the parents. Bukanlah cikgu sekolah yang jahat abaikan anak dorang yang nakal dan suka mencuba, its normal for the kids. Tapi yakin, yang cikgu dah malas nak layan is the mak dan bapak budak tu. Memang perangai kena baiki di Henry Gurney.

So this should be my last writing of this.

Thank you my readers for reading this, and most of you for trusting us.

Thank you also for AURB parents ehem - i also knew you are reading this (Its the IP sisthurrrr, choose incognito mode next time). And for the effort to print screen the write up for circulation. I pray for Allah to open your heart , accepting the truth and improving whats need to be done. If in the event you need help, just reach out. We will try to assist - ONLY for the benefit of your kid. But do not expect us to air kissing with you. Its a no no. Hope that clear ya. And good luck with your plan for the kid. Never again questioned why Allah makes it hard to you, just look at yourself. And repent. Banyak dah orang you all susahkan ni. Not only with us. The bad reputation to dah ada. Hati2 lah.

Ok. Got to go!!!!!
