Got this for a farewell gift from my ex-department.

It is pieces of vouchers amounting to few hundreds ringgit, am very glad, seriously, appreciating the effort for each of them to willingly contribute to pay for it. Also thanks for the partner, friends and colleagues for willingly paid for the VIP room for the karaoke session, then abundant of foods for farewell breakfast to lunches, then this. Really unexpected. Could buy a new washing machine, or a refrigerator in cash.

Now the issue is:

What to get from Sephora?

And WHY oh why do you guys bought this for me? Am I thaaaaatt in need of a makeover? *sad*

Dudes, my new team are all guys. So am still the only beauty within the radar. Haha. But I do glad I have this vouchers, can start with my plan for a beauty regime so people would not mistakenly call my mother as my YOUNGER sister.

Never Underestimate Allah's Plan

Assalamualaikum..

I have to be frank. Really frank.

Then, when am still an executive, when the rest of early management's team comprise of new faces from external recruitment, or those who are much much younger than me, and when my own buddies are already stepping up the ladder, whilst me are doing still the donkey works, I did miserably questioning my own capability. At times, I hate going out for lunches or just ignored any social gathering for fear of people looking down at me.

Rather than justifying my denied promotions for turning down the offer via transfers, in 2 consecutive years, or my froze promotion due to unpaid leave whatsoever, I chose to keeps mum. For them, if you are good, then there is no excuse. If you are not at it, then you are not suffice.

Every time during prayer, I will have the same du'a repetitively, even when we went for umrah, one of the du'a was to ease my corporate journey, on top of others stuff (seeing my parents again to top it all).

And time passed, for years, still nothing change. Due recognition for performance yes, albeit unjust treatments, Allah still befit it upon me.

At a point, I just stop think about it. Totally live with the flow, and trust in Allah, believe His's rezqi came in many forms, family health and all.

Yes, I was promoted a year ago and also was compensated with bonus and increments, while others are losing their job. I was granted of a transfer to the position of my choice when others have to struggle adapting to their new alien responsibility. 

With a supporting husband, smart and healthy kids, a very good support system, a house to live, food to eat, a secured job and extra money for entertainment, I've told Hasif : I have enough of everything Alhamdulillah. I would not ask more, in fact, I don't deserve what have been given as I am not a good servant. Yet.

And when I'm stop asking, and just striving for a self-betterment, everything started to pouring in. 

I mean..... EVERYTHING.

Hasif's business is recovering. Imani's recitation of Quran - well its beyond my expectation of her. Harith slowly picking up on his reading (after 2 years of struggling and a visit to PCMC). 

And for my job, I got 3 letters in a month again, when at a normal speed, should be achieved in 4 years. 2 promotions letters, 1 assignment letter to a place dreamt by most in my organization, and Alhamdulillah, a very good and supportive new team and superior.

Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah.

My take? Do not stop believing in Allah. And trust, His plans are much better than us. Should you wonder what my weapons are, I just try to contained my flip flop of faith by doing  these:

1 - 2 rakaat of Sunah Prayer before Subuh 

2 - Surah Al Waqiah

3 - Al Mathurat

4 - Dhuha

My journey are still uncertain. But for once, am confident whatever happened, for a reason. Cry if you must, but don't give up.

Please pray for my strong will to continuously obey and be a better servant to Allah.

INFO : Sakit Kepala - Jenis dan Simptom

Assalamualaikum..

Sakit kepala ni memang senang sangat serang kita. Dan semakin tua kita (semakin banyak fikir dan semakin lemah imunisasi badan), makin kerap kita akan dilanda sakit kepala.

Bila dia datang, memang boleh terbaring sepanjang hari. Dan hanya orang yang mengalami sakit yang sama je yang boleh faham.

Ok. Dah tau apa punca dan jenis. Boleh la aplikasikan pula rawatan ikut kesesuaian. Jangan asal sakit kepala terus baring. Kena macam sakit yang cluster tu, memang akan bertambah teruk la.

Ini rawatan secara Islam. Melalui doa, dan yakin Allah pengubat segala penyakit. Selain ni, boleh pergi dapatkan nasihat doktor sebab dos sakit kepala n i berbeza ikut jenis sakit dan umur kita.

Yang penting, cuba dapatkan rawatan sebaiknya.

Tukang Cat Sekolah Free

Assalamualaikum...

Sejak terlibat dengan PIBG sekolah ni, memang rutin dah jadi untuk sekolah je. Dahla memang sebelum ni memang asyik di sekolah, sekarang tambah join persatuan ni, memang laaaaaaa lagi di sekolah.

Jangan hairan kenapa jadi sibuk sangat. Tak pasti di sekolah lain, tapi PIBG sekolah ni memang 'working PIBG'. Semua turun ke padang buat sendiri. Sekolah buat merentas desa, parents jaga check point. Sekolah buat Hari Kantin, parents jadi tukang angkat tong gas, pasang khemah. Sekolah buat hari sukan, parents pun turun sekali jadi jaga garisan. Itu bab masa dan tenaga.

Waktu lain, mak guard terjatuh di tangga sebab tak ada handrail,  parents juga yang keluarkan duit pasang handrail baru. Tandas sekolah tersumbat, parents panggil plumber bayar sendiri. Sebab seriousla kalau nak harap sekolah, berapa banyak peruntukan yang ada. Dahlah budget kementerian cut sekarang. Memang kagum komitment dorang ni. Bukan semua, pastilah, tapi yang ada tu alhamdulillah.

Pagi ni, Hasif turun lagi. Cat line untuk gelanggang. Minggu depan sekolah jadi tuan rumah untuk volleyball dan softball.

Gigih la wei, tengah panas lit lit. Tak sanggup nak tolong. Kitorang sokong je dari atas, sambil makan ice cream. Hahahahah.

Lupa nak cerita, pada waktu cerita ni ditulis, bibik tengah sental baju Hanif. Boleh pula orang tengah sibuk cat gelanggang, dia masuk dalam tin cat merah. Hamek kawwwww....dah jadi Hantu Opera Cina.

Trip To Pasar Tani (with the kids!!!!!!) URGH

Assalamualaikum...

I love doing grocerry and somehow its one of many my de-stress activities. Haha.

And after almost 10 years living in this area, we never set our foot at the local Pasar Tani. And hence, as  today we have to sent Imani for her additional Kem Ibadah, we stopped by just to buy few stuff.

And the definition of few stuff to Hasif , is almost fully-occupies car's bonnet.

I love Pasar Tani. Can see almot (99%) are muslim. So if they even sells bit higher, just close one eyes and pay. Its contributing to my own religion. 

And normal activities for any family day out? FOOD!!!

The Black Pump Shoes

Assalamualaikum...

I am one of those with 1 shoes ; work , leaisure and what ever occasion you could think of should the shoes are permitted. My definition of spending are either on food (most of the time) or the kids.

But since I moved back to Tower 1, which the regulations are more stricter than Tower 3, and having a new scope which requires lots of meeting with stakeholder, apparently image is very important as we are respresenting the company.

I had twice, been suspended at gate for wearing my crocs, and denied entry to my level. Haha.

And with my really heavy heart, had to drag myself to get a new pair that would guarantee the access to my own workplace. And with tonnes of fat and pair of feet's size of an elephant, its really a challenge to get 1 good shoes which can give me both comfort and style (AND CHEAP).

Alhamdulillah, got this. And its gonna be my only pair of shoes for longest time permissible.

*who the idiot invented rules on pump shoes for work? 😶😶😶😶😶😶😶😝😝😝*

INFO : Kutil / Ketuat @ Warts

Assalamualaikum... 

Kutil atau pun ketuat ni sebenarnya masalah biasa. Bentuk macam benjolan kecil tapi tekstur dia kasar dan selalunya ada di permukaan kulit. Punca kutil ni adalah virus Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).

Virus ni dia serang cepat, dari sentuh terus dengan kulit yang telah di jangkiti atau pun benda yang telah di sentuh kulit pembawa HPV. Tapi jangan cepat risau, tak semua yang kita sentuh akan jadi kutil, semua ditentukan oleh tahap imun badan kita. Selain yang sistem imun dia rendah, kanak-kanak pun antara yang mudah terjangkit.

Bila kita cakap permukaan kulit, tidak hanya pada tangan dan kaki, ada kutil yang banyak serang rakyat Malaysia iaitu Genital Warts atau Kutil Kemaluan. Dan biasanya, sentimen orang kita ini malu nak bercerita, jadi simpan sorang2. Jangan buat macam tu, sebab penyakit ini ada ubatnya.

Sama ada pergi dapatkan rawatan doktor, atau boleh pergi beli krim di farmasi. Tapi jangan sesekali ambil gunting dan potong sendiri kutil tu sebab dia akan merebak dari cecair yang sedia ada.

Contoh ubat / krim yang boleh diaplikasi kan:

Kutil ini biasanya berakar, dan walaupun sudah hilang, ada kemungkinan dia akan datang semula. Jadi pastikan setiap kali nak naik kutil, sapu sahajalah krim Aldara tu. Dia cepat je hilang InsyaAllah.

Parents : Your Time Is No Longer Yours Once Those Little Devil Enter Your Life

Assalamualaikum...

When I first give birth to Imani, I have fully prepared by all the expectations and responsibilities that carry with the little bundle of joy. From readings, from own experiences with my nieces and nephews and from the surrounding am in.

The first few years were and still are challenging. Sick, fever, visits to paed, learning new stuff, listening (and receiving) lots of advice from others. And vacation or any sort of entertainment was not difficult to manage since I have to schedule Hasif and my calendar only.

Once Imani in Primary 1, everything changed. Our calendars are most affected by her school calendars. The daily family routines are also dominated by her school timing. And once Harith joins his early school, the challenges are super real. With home works, expectations, school activities etc etc .. and those are only few of it.

So, when we discuss what to add on for the kids co-curriculum, we are extra cautious on what to enroll in, its expectation, the result to our kids and the most important is, whether the timing is suitable with the main academic expectation at school. Thus we left only with Karate, Art and Swimming for the kids.

So here we go, Sunday gone for Imani karate class, sitting on the floor waiting for her training to complete, with the heavy rains blanket the whole area. When most of the family are resting at home with their kids, the parents are here, waiting patiently theirs.

Good luck kids. Hope you realize how fortunate you are to have this blessing: to be able to top-up your skill AND parents who are fully supporting of you.

Be glad. And be humble.

Its My Birthday!!!!! ...I.AM.DEFINITELY.OLD..sob sob

Yesterday was my birthday, and for once this year the celebrations are bits unique.

1. My siblings celebrating the event two days before - whilst only 1 birthday girl was attending (am sharing my birthday with my cutie niece)...and Hasif and myself were both out attending invitation.

So here they went : Sate Mas Kajang - our favorite hide out when Arwah Abg Chik were still alive ( I miss him - Alfatihah)

Entit besar ditangkap sedang menggenggam sate ayam- takut habis dimakan orang

Dan...sebenarnya, sebelum event makan2 - the girls went out to buy tudung raya (thank you Mak Ngah!!!) --- jadi kanak2 kecik P Lang tolong tengokkan. 

Punyala baik, P Lang belanja dorang makan di Baskin Robins...hahahah. Kalau mak sendiri jangan mimpi lah ye nak dapat.

The two scoundrels

Ya Allah kakak...kenapa rambut dah macam baldi??? Apsal la tak sikat dulu rambut

Yang berdua ni memula dari rumah rasa pakai tudung...tak tahu mana hilang si tudung Fatrah ni..haha

Don't be fool by his cheeky-horrendous- looks. This one boy is definitely a sugar melt.

2. Khamis 11hb puasa, tapi sebab Hasif dah outstation, memang tak ada kawan nak buka. Tengah2 dok fikir nak ajak sapa, atau nak balik rumah je (confirm tak ada food sebab bibik memang tak masak untuk kami), tetiba my two old frens datang menjengah.

Am sooooo grateful, they came all the way from Kelana Jaya, fetched me with a brand new car in front if KLCC, paid for the delicious dinner and then sent me home.

These two gals are my frens from Secondary school. Saya tak kawan sangat dengan Nonoi dulu sebab dia kawan budak2 elit. Rad plak mmg kawan dengan saya sebab kesian tak ada kawan lain, have i told you how pain in the ass I was before????? Hahahahahahah..for valid reasons I hope. And now, these two are the first to know should I wants to gossip about things..hahahahah... terima kasih korang.

3. I had superb celebration in Office on the day itself. Pol datang KLCC semata2 untuk lunch sama2. Naik putra all the way from Shah Alam.

Motto : Kepakaran kami adalah ambil gambr kepala senget. (Dem..i hate this wefie thingy..mana pergi orang tukang amik gambar proper ni...hish)

Habis lunch...kitorang ada status update meeting. Attended by most, Senior Managers to General Managers equivalent, and HR included. Masuk meeting macam biasa, duduk belakang  sekali, dengan harapan boleh sambil buat kerja sambil meeting, Tetiba je dengar orang nyanyi birthday .. 

The cake , seriously marvelous, from London Sandwich Coffee (I don't even know they are selling cakes). This 1.5 kg cost is RM220. Pricey betul. Terima kasih k srikandi..for the thought and the effort !!!

Sempat nyorok belakang kerusi wei..segan tahap maksima..that guy is my collest-GM-on-the earth : En Khalil. And he sang the loudest. Hahahahhaha.

Sebenarnya, my cool bos selepas solat Jumaat belanja ais krim magnum. Dia beli 2 je : Ok Irina, since only both of us are not fasting, lets choose and hide under the table to eat..hahahahah

4. Malam balik kerja, anak2 minta ke rumah Tok Cik. Since Hasif tak ada, kitorang pun minta izin tidur rumah Tok Cik je semalam. Sampai2...dah bau Nasi Daging...woweeeeee...melompat budak2 makanan kesukaan dorang ada. Gambar tak boleh nak upload...sebab tak jumpa handphone..adeh.

 

5. Dan akhir sekali, seperti kebiasaan,saya terima wishes dan doa2 yang sangat jujur. Terima kasih semua. Moga Allah membalas ingatan anda. Dari ibu dan siblings yang sanggup tunggu 12 malam sebelumnya, ke mesej, lync office dan FB. Abah for the first time wish dalam FB. Dan tahun ni juga, tak ada wish dan doa dari mama. I miss her. Hilang dah 1 mukjizat kami. Allah.

Paling terharu (dan sampai sekarang tak tahu nak respond apa) bila Hasif buat public declaration dalam FB, wish birthday. OMG!!!!!! For someone yang sangat reserve, yang tak pernah kongsi hal2 keluarga, yang sangat jaga manner, even private pun tak pernah cakap benda2 ni...I am sooooooo touched.

Terima kasih atas penghargaan , redha dan doa yang diberikan. Sebaik-baik hadiah bagi seorang isteri, adalah redha suami atas setiap perkara yang dilakukan.

Nasi Ambeng

Assalamualaikum...

Nasi Ambeng ni makanan tradisional orang jawa. Letak dalam dulang, untuk portion 4 orang makan, ada nasi putih, ayam seekor, serunding dan sambal jawa. Lauk tu berbeza ikut selera. Kalau di Indonesia , kadang2 orang tambah mee goreng.

Ibu plak kalau kitorang balik kampung memang nasi ambeng la favorite masa berkumpul. Untuk special occasion la.

Suka sebenarnya bila makan sama-sama ni. Lebih rapat sebab berebut. Tapi mungkin a ada sesetengah yang tak selesa sebab makan tangan ramai2 celup satu dulang.

Still...... kan sunah pun kalau makan sama2. Cuba la.

Hanif dan Baby Mil Mil

Assalamualaikum..

Imani dan Harith bab2 patung ni kurang sket. Tapi bila masuk si Hanif, memang ada 1 patung Imani dia kelek ke hulur hilir.

Siapa ada nama lagi : Baby Mil Mil.

Ke mana - mana memang bawak patung ni. Tak kisahlah bercuti ke, balik kampung ke, mesti jadi salah satu benda wajib di bawa balik. Memang pelik la, sebab time mak pak tak de plak kitorang ada benda2 macam ni.

Bila tanya Doctor dia , ok ke tak, terutamanya sebab Hanif ni lelaki takut ada psikologi ke bende nanti, Doctor cakap ok. Akan hilang kesukaan ni selalunya bila anak dah sampai satu2 umur.

Cuma wajib risau, kalau dah baligh masih ada kesukaan kepada benda bukan lazim ikut jantina dan umur. Itu kena lebih berhati-hati. Jangan pandang ringan, terutama pada zaman moden dan teknologi ini, zaman akhir zaman, bila fitnah makin lebih banyak dan berleluasa.

Hati - hati lah sahaja.

INFO: Kencing Tak Lawas

Assalamualaikum...

Penyakit ni selalu terjadi, di sebabkan beberapa sebab. Cuma kalau perempuan, selalu akan kena bila mengandung. Memang series la mengganggu kehidupan seharian, dan kena lebih berhati-hati bab kebersihan sebab nak pastikan solat tu sempurna.

Punca ada pelbagai, yang paling famous :

• Suka tahan kencing - selalu sebab banyak sangat benda nak buat, kemas rumah la, masak la, tunggu meeting habis awal la, jadi selagi boleh tahan memang akan tahan
• Kurang minum air kosong - benda ni memang Hasif selalu tegur. Badan manusia ni 75% adalah air. Jadi, sukatan keperluan kita, setiap 25kg berat adalah 1 Liter air kosong
• Hygiene @ kebersihan diri - selalu kita rasa kita dah betul-betul menjaga, tapi sebenarnya cara penjagaan tu tak sempurna. Kenapa perempuan selalu kena? Sebab cara membasuh vagina tak betul. Sepatutnya, kalau membasuh, sapu dari vagina ke belakang, bukan sebaliknya untuk mengelakkan kekotoran di punggung tak di bawa ke hadapan.

Simtom pula, perhatikan kalau kita berhadapan dengan perkara-perkara ini :

• Kekerapan ke tandas - tengok kalau dah 10 kali ke tandas
• Aliran keluar air kencing - rasa panas, perit dan pedih
• Kencing tak puas - terasa seperti air kencing nak keluar tapi tak boleh dipaksa keluar
• Sakit pada bahagian ari2 atau vagina - dan perut akan selalu rasa bengkak
• Otot kemut macam tak berfungsi - kelemahan nak menahan air kencing
• Bila teruk, boleh mengalami demam atau kencing berdarah

Secara medikal, sakit ini boleh diubati dengan ubat antibiotik dari klinik atau ubat URAL dari farmasi.

Management Skill Required

Past few years experiences in Corporate, really thought me a lesson of life and what the do's and the don'ts for a management's team, being new manager, the middle management and also the top management team.

Regardless whether you are in small company or a big multinational company, the basis are the same. 3 things are VERY IMPORTANT: technical, human and conceptual.

So, just check in which level you are currently in, if you are not a manager by certain level, REMEMBER, you are still a leader on your own and manager for in kind.

Hold on this tight, you wont be lost.

Baby Boss in The House

And the kids skipped March's allocation, so they could watch Baby Boss AND Power Rangers (urghh) in April.
