TGV oh TGV........WHY!!!

Assalamualaikum..

Minggu lepas kitorang fefeling penuhi permintaan anak2 nak tengok wayang. Kan tengah hit cerita Batman Lego. Jadi kami angkutlah anak2 sesudah Zuhur ke TGV berdekatan.

Sebab saya baru turun flight, kelaparan. Jadi kitorang pecah dua. Hasif beli tiket.

Sila pergi kaunter beli baru (sambil muka pandang gaya2 orang nak seludup anak masuk).

...........dum.....damm...guruh berdentum.....

Dik..call your manager please.

Nak buat apa?

........petir dah keluar sket2....

1. Customer is always right, but entertain only a right customer -

Sejak bila lah pekerja saya cakap macam tu? (sambil marah2 pekerja depan pelanggan sebab buat salah)'.

Kalau kita berlembut dalam keadaan pelanggan tengah panas hati, insyaAllah pelanggan akan cool down sedikit.

Tapi percayalah. Layan pelanggan sebagaimana kita mahu dilayan. InsyaAllah akan mudah.

Fall and stand better

Assalamualaikum...

We had a chat over dinner with friends lastnight. What really disturbing is, people around us are really struggling to meet the ends. Some have moved back to hometown. There are one or two couples are either separating or already divorced. And our closest friend is also on the verge of considering the spliting.

And all are due to money constraint. Businesses are closing down. Currency is already down the drain. Banks now acting more like 'Along' than financial institutions. RM50 in 2016 can buy peanuts, compared to a trolley of dried food as it was in 2007.

Its frightening. And the forecast is, this will be continuing until 2021. Ergh.

We thought that we are already in a bad shape. Hasif had to close down his apparel shop. Stop the wholesale business with other SEA as the company could not cope with the currency hit anymore. A normal twice a year vacations and weekends gateway now last to one only in totality. Entertainment allowance scratch to nil. Normal choices of premium brand foods, are already settled to in house hypermarket brands only.

Still, we feels that we are ok. And surviving. Not over the moon spending anymore, or impulse buying, but we are able to make do with the neccessities.

More important is, we are standing up for each other. He listen. And he provides logical explanation for me to decide from. When we argue, or is disputing on stuff, we will talk. A real talk. Not a talk-over-a-messages-or-a-whatsapp. If he can tolerate of me being late from work, or not even returning home due to pressure of closing the account for the company, he gave his consent for me to took classes, from degree to MBA to ACCA : an understanding of his current difficulties to provide the normal luxury for the family is too small of favor to return.

Guys, we are not perfect. We also have flaws. And am not potraying the image-of-perfect-marriage here. What am trying to highlight, marriage is always a work in progress. And its beyond love. Its understanding and trust and able to accept your other half as who he or she is. What cant kill you will makes you stronger. Falls 7 times, stand up again 8 times. And normally, in each falls, you will stands better.

Just pray. Please. And wish for betterment.

Solat & Puasa

Assalamualaikum..

LRT Manners!!! (2)

Assalamualaikum..

Those knowing me, will know that whenever I use the LRT , there will always be an 'accident' happens.

Say...a drinks 'accidently' fall on the lap or a sling bag 'accidently' hit a face or a bagpack 'accidently' smack a body. Well, its an accident, so please don't blame me :).

Frankly .. those incidents won't happen if we as Malaysian and whoever you are residing here in Malaysia respects the rule. When its says priority seating for bla bla bla..it means give the priority to those person. I really hate the eyes-avoiding-contact-tactic or suddenly-i-fall-on sleep-in my seat or worst ohhhh!!!-i-have-this-limited-vision-so-I-could-not-see-that-you-are-in-need.

Please....please.....please....

If I need to refresh your knowledge, the red seating or priority seating refers to:

1) Old folks
2) Pregnant Ladies
3) Parents with Kids
4) Disable Person

You can make the change by initiating the action. Or by telling those who are still in ignorant mode. Remember, any deeds will have its payback, being good or bad, its just the matter of now or later.

So...let's create the culture.

To prioritize

Assalamualaikum..

Over a tea break (@ 10 minutes gossiping session ), this person shared;

In life, there are lots of expectations, and things that we have to consider. A failure in one will leave a mark to others. How to have a harmonious life? How to have a piece of mind? How to prioritize?

My practice is easy (yet to perfection,  am still improving), in order to obtain barakah in life, keep hold to these 3 pillars:

          1. Solat (ultimately a submission to Allah s.w.t and His messenger)
            2. Respect your parents (for a married man) and Husband (for a married woman)
          3. Sadaqah

Let's try.

About Me

A wife, a mother of three and still surviving the corporate jungle. Wish I could give back to people, and put a mark or two in their life. Planning, negotiation and interpersonal skills are my expertise. Let's get connected.
