Assalamualaikum...
My sisters (and mother) in an extreme new mode now : to persuade us changing our car.
Well, I know where they are coming from btw.
Our car is a decade old, equivalent to Imani's age and as old as any grandmother could be (put aside Cindy Crawford equivalent please).
Thing is, the car has been fully paid and the thought of purchasing a new car on LOAN, its scary us. Seriously. And as I am working in KLCC where LRT is only a breath away, I cant see the point of having a new car, or like my sister always highlight:
Should get 2nd car in case of emergency. And you are on the rank now, should maintain your image.
Hello.. we have Grab Taxi, Uber, MRT, LRT and etc etc etc .
And I am only 1 level up from THE MOST KULI TO THE EXTREME KULI BATAK. I have no rank or image to maintain. My work speaks my worth. (ayat berlagak..ASTAGHFIRULLAH).
And to get a car which is not too stuffy, yet can accommodate to our big size family. Not too flashy, yet not too grandparent's design. Bla bla bla....and the list continues.
And yes, since the car in its grandma's age, lately the car requires a lot of maintenance. Sanely almost RM15K for 4 months. So , sometimes I do questioning my decision again to not buying any new car, until and unless our current car left with only a tyre or a spring to support it.
So hold still, my decision is intact.

for months and years.

Until I saw this :

Oh my heart, be still please.
